Police Academy Cadets, Kano Pay Lagos Assembly Courtesy Visit

The Lagos State Indigenes of the Nigerian Police Academy in Wudil kano were on ground to witness the house session of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Alausa Ikeja recently when they paid a courtesy visit to the law making organ of the government.

They were received by the Speaker of the Assembly; Mr. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa at his Assembly quarters after the team had watched the proceedings for that day.

Speaking to the team, the Hon Speaker urged the young officers not only to try to improve the already battered image of the Police Authority; he also urged them to project the image and excellence for which Lagos is known for.

Cadet ASP Mudathir Animashaun, who was the spokesperson of the team promised the Lagos State government of their resolve to be good ambassadors of the State, while also assuring the Speaker that the purpose of their visit was to intimate the Assembly of their resolute to deal with all sorts of crimes and discourage stealing through cyber manipulations and the dangers of drug abuse, most especially among the current generation of youths.

Hon. Obasa assured them he was honored with the team’s determinations and promised to assist them whenever he’s called upon, most especially on reducing criminal activities in Nigeria as a whole. The cadet officers were appreciative of the open door policy of the House of Assembly as they presented a gift to the House through the Speaker.
