A post has been ubiquitous and consistent on the internet, particularly the INSTAGRAM handle of multiple award winning singer and one time Grammy Award nominee, Africa’s King of World beat, Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adageye popularly known as King Sunny Ade (KSA).
The two Instagram handles of KSA are @kingsunnyademusic and kingsunnyade70, while the former has over a 100,000 followers, the latter has closely 4,444 followers. Both handles are active but with more popular artistes in the entertainment industry following the first one, @kingsunnyademusic.
The King Sunny Ade through @kingsunnyademusic has been promising people and coercing them to part way with the sum of NGN39, 500.00 on the pretence that they will be taken to America before the end of January 2019, on a music tour with KSA with opportunity to stay behind in God’s Own Country even after the tour. Investigations carried out by ONN reveals that the money was meant for Visa processing and to be paid into a UBA ACCOUNT Number 2077051255 owned by one OLAYIWOLA ADEKUNLE.
Further detailed investigation carried out by ONN confirmed the amount and the process. However, an effort to get across to the respected musician as at writing this story has been unsuccessful; the onus in now on the manager of KSA or his management team to get across to ONN in order to clear the air on this image tarnishing issue through editor@onlinenigeriannews.com.
King Sunny Ade is one of the highly revered musicians from the continent of Africa and his name is synonymous with philanthropy, this makes one wonder what the king would do with approximately NGN2Million to be realized from fans desperate to leave the country for greener pastures in U.S.A.
