The member of Lagos State House Assemble representing Amuwo Adofin Constituency 2 has commiserated with those who lost properties as well as families of unlucky residents who paid the ultimate price following series of explosion that rocked Abule-Ado area of Lagos State yesterday, Sunday.
Speaking to ONN at his assembly office complex in Alausa earlier today, the lawmaker expressed grief and anguish on the incident. “I am yet to come out of shock when the news came to me, I am greatly saddened”, he told ONN.
Speaking further, Hon. Olawale said that the protection of life and property of those he is representing at the Lagos assembly, as well as the lives of every resident in Lagos is precious and that such unfortunate accident gives him heartache especially when lost of innocent lives is involved. He therefore prayed for the repose of the lives of those whose existence were cut short while promising that the legislative arm will work hand-in-hand with the executive arm led by Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu to bring relief to those affected.
Recall that an inexplicable explosion rocked Abule-Ado area in Amuwo-Odofin in the early hours of yesterday Sunday destroying houses and properties; as at filing this report, nineteen lifeless bodies were already recovered by the emergency response team.
